Deeside facility marks 25 successful years

Posted on 28 July 2011

People with long term care plans at Inchmarlo Care Home and Retirement Community are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the facility.

The Deeside unit has enjoyed much success in its quarter-century, receiving the highest available rating by the Care Commission in 2010 and 2011, reports the Deeside Piper.

This no doubt makes the facility and attractive proposition for people choosing a care home.

A multinational community, Inchmarlo houses 110 residents from Scotland, 26 from England and Wales and five abroad.

Charles Skene, chairman of the Skene Group, which owns the care home, told the publication: "From when we opened in 1986 we've provided the highest standard of care and support services as well as competitive property on our beautiful estate - it really has been a winning combination."

This comes after Wycome care home Alde House marked its 40th anniversary with a barbeque and garden party, reports the Bucks Free Press.
