Care home interior design wins award

A facility housing people paying for care has been awarded an esteemed design award after hiring Just Imagine Contract Interiors to carry out the project on the interior of the centre.

Avery Healthcare, owner of Broadway Halls in St Asaph, asked Just Imagine to design the interior of the care home, which houses 83 residents paying for care, reports the dailypost.co.uk.

The result earned the design company a Pinders Healthcare Design Award.

Jo Goddard, managing director of Just Imagine, told the publication: "We have a great relationship with Avery and I'm delighted for them, but especially for my team here. They are very talented and this reward is fully deserved."

This will no doubt make the facility an attractive proposition for individuals with long term care plans.

People choosing a care home in Hull, however, will soon have a wider choice of facilities, after the Department of Health awarded the city an £83 million grant to support the building of three housing developments for older and vulnerable people, according to the East Riding Mail.
