Dave Seager has worked in financial services for over 24 years. After graduating with a History degree from the University of Essex he spent over 2 years in direct sales before moving to the professional independent sector as a broker consultant with Scottish Mutual in 1990. Twelve years later he moved into a Strategic Key Account Relationship role with what became Abbey for Intermediaries. It was here that Dave first looked after the SIFA account, a role which he retained when he moved to Legal & General in 2004. He spent four years at L&G in various Key Account Directorship roles. In June 2008 he was invited to join SIFA as the Director with responsibility for growing SIFA’s membership of professional IFAs working in the legal market. Dave was heavily involved in the launch of SIFA Professional and has transformed the structure of SIFA’s strategic partnerships and its local member events.
